Liz Woods has been on the board of directors for The Theatre Downstream since its inception in 2014. She currently holds the position of vice president. Liz is a huge advocate for bringing the arts to all corners of the planet. That's what makes TTD such a passion project for her. Being able to bring large and small productions to her rural community for all to enjoy makes her more than proud. She has strong roots in Henry County. Her husband Zach is a lifelong resident and works for the school system. Her children Emma and Jackson both attended public school here and have spent hundreds of hours on the TTD stage through the years. Liz also works as a nurse in Louisville and still after 25 years in practice enjoys meeting new people and caring for those in need. Liz enjoys cooking and has three cats that she's crazy over. She has been involved in TTD on multiple levels. She has had the privilege to be both on stage and behind the scenes. Not to mention the friends she made and laughs that have been had over the years. Liz is excited about TTD's future and can't wait to continue the work to keep bringing the arts to her small town.
